The Deputy Leader of the SSC-Khaatumo Administration, who is also acting as the interim Leader of the Administration and Deputy Director of the Customs Department under the Ministry of Finance, laid the foundation stone for the first customs post in the Sanaag region, located in Fiqifuliye District. Officials from the Ministry of Finance, who are actively engaged in expanding the Ministry’s operational reach, noted that this customs post will play a key role in enhancing taxation on goods and inspecting imports entering the area. This marks the third customs station inaugurated by the Ministry of Finance within a span of just two weeks, reflecting the administration’s commitment to strengthening financial infrastructure and regulatory oversight.
