The Ministry of Finance – SSC-Khaatumo Administration today commenced a technical training session focused on the Unified Chart of Accounts (UCoA). The objective of the training is to enhance financial management skills, improve transparency, and standardize public sector accounting practices. The Training is a key step toward promoting efficiency, accountability, and structured financial reporting as part of broader public financial management reforms. It benefited a selection of staff members from the Ministry, who are directly involved in the implementation of financial procedures. The session was led by the Director General of the Ministry of Finance, along with Department Directors, who provided in-depth explanations on how the Unified Chart of Accounts functions as a foundation for improving the administration’s financial systems. This initiative is part of the Ministry’s continuous efforts to upgrade staff capacity and institutional effectiveness, aiming for a transparent and accountable financial governance framework.
