The Accountant General of the SSC-Khaatumo Administration, Mr. Mohamed Ibrahim Hussein, participated in the opening ceremony of a Public Financial Management (PFM) knowledge exchange program focusing on national accounting systems in Somalia and Federal Member States, including SSC-Khaatumo. The training, held at Treasury House in Abuja, is part of a broader capacity-building initiative aimed at enhancing PFM practices across Somali regions through international cooperation. The Accountant General of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Dr. (Mrs.) Oluwatoyin Sakirat Madein delivered the keynote address, highlighting Nigeria’s major reforms and progress in the field of public financial management. Additionally, Mr. Abdirahman Mohamed Anas, Accountant General of the Federal Government of Somalia, presented the purpose of the visit and outlined the objectives and expectations of the Somali delegation.
