The Director General of the Ministry of Finance – SSC-Khaatumo, Mr. Siciid Abdirahman Mohamed, and the Chief Accountant of the SSC-Khaatumo Administration, Mr. Mohamed Ibrahim Hussein, participated today in the Quarterly Public Financial Management (PFM) Conference held in Dhusamareb, the capital of Galmudug State. The Federal Accountant General of Somalia officially inaugurated the conference, Mr. Abdirahman Mohamed Anas, along with the Minister of Finance of Galmudug, Mr. Farxaan Ali Mahmoud. Scheduled from November 16 to 20, the conference focuses on strengthening coordination and development of the financial systems between the Federal Government and Federal Member States (FMS). The primary goal of the conference is to enhance collaboration and harmonization of financial management systems nationwide, promoting transparency, efficiency, and sustainable performance. Key discussion points also include developing national financial plans and jointly addressing current financial challenges faced at both national and sub-national levels.
