The Ministry of Finance – SSC-Khaatumo Administration has officially concluded the recruitment examination for Tax Collection Officer positions in Laascaanood, held at Ummadda Ileys University. Senior government officials, including the Minister of Youth, Sports, Labor, and Public Service, the Director General of the Ministry of Finance, the Director of Administration and Finance, the Director of Public Information, and the Director of Procurement and Contracts, attended the event. These officials supervised the process to ensure that the exam was transparent, fair, and professionally managed, demonstrating the Ministry’s commitment to a merit-based and accountable recruitment system.A total of 90 shortlisted candidates sat for the exam, all of whom had previously advanced through a competitive screening phase. The purpose of the exam is to identify and recruit skilled and competent tax professionals who will play a key role in strengthening revenue systems and improving the delivery of financial services to the public.This initiative is part of the Ministry’s broader strategy to build institutional capacity, develop workforce professionalism, and enhance the overall efficiency of public financial management in SSC-Khaatumo.The Ministry reaffirms its dedication to promoting knowledge, creating job opportunities through transparent processes, and implementing sound governance that earns public trust.
